(these relate to, and continue beyond, any period of Guarantee):
- Reduced repair costs (doors, surrounds and associated hardware suffer less damage through operating in a proper state of adjustment)
- Less unexpected, inconvenient and premature breakdowns (regular servicing reduces costly repairs and call-outs)
- Increased security (door function is regularly checked and adjusted for proper operation)
- Reduced cost of air conditioning (doors are adjusted to close fully and at the proper speed to minimise wasted air-conditioning)
- Better control of outside noise and wind blown debris (doors are adjusted to fully close - not allowing wind and noise to enter partly ajar doors)
- Improved image and working conditions (doors are adjusted to minimise scraping and noisy operation which annoys customers and staff)
- Provides evidence of best practice (in the event of an accident or insurance claim, wilful negligence is minimised - particularly important if smoke-stop, egress or fire doors are involved)
- Minimised Health & Safety risks (doors are not left to operate dangerously out of adjustment)
- Minimised insurance exposures (some policies can show insurance cover is contingent to maintenance being regularly performed)
- Optional provision of annual IQP/LBP (12A form) maintenance reporting (for Building Warrant of Fitness purposes)
Regular service agreement customers are given priority attention in the event of any callouts (credit applications and deposits are generally waived for regular customers)
